OurGop: The Republican Action Network

President Reagan was right. The people of America have always led movements for freedom from the dinner table, the meeting house or the town hall.  Today, government abuses continue to mount: taxes, take-overs, Czars, and more taxes. 

As always, Republicans recognize when liberty is at stake and they take action. RNC Chairman Michael Steele has heard time and again from Republicans across the country that they are willing to do the hard work and the organizing needed to preserve and defend our freedoms.  He heard them call for a place for Republicans to gather for action. In response, Chairman Steele decided that the new RNC web-presence would be just such a place, naming it OurGOP: The Republican Action Network. 

OurGOP: The Republican Action Network is where you meet other Republicans who are ready to bring real, substantive change and reform to Washington D.C. It’s where Republicans gather for more than fellowship … they gather for fellowship in the name of getting things done. You can find other Republicans around you locally, create and join groups to organize by issue, candidate or location, host or attend Republican events in your area to benefit the cause of freedom, or write blog posts about what you are doing to affect change in 2010.
