To honor the month long observance of Black History Month, the Republican National Committee produced the following web video, entitled “Pioneers Who Have Paved The Way For Others."  Click above and check it out!

...today African American continue to tell the story of America through the lives of men and women who not only realize the dreams of their ancestors, but are creating pathways to dreams yet realized. For example, there are many African American Republicans playing leadership roles at the state and local level. Michael Williams, the first African American to hold a statewide elected executive office in Texas history; Representative Jennifer Carroll, the first black female Republican elected to the Florida Legislature; Representative Tim Scott, who in 2008 became the first African American Republican elected to the South Carolina General Assembly since Reconstruction; and Representative Pearl Burris-Floyd, who is the first African American Woman elected to serve in the North Carolina House of Representatives...

How does one make a Topic for discussion in these blogs. I can only find where to comment on a topic but not where to start a topic. Can someone please help.
