“Each March we celebrate National Women’s History Month and this year marks the 30^th anniversary of this momentous occasion. More than 160 years have passed since the historic Women’s Rights Convention in Seneca Falls, New York when over 250 female pioneers met to discuss the status of civil, social, and religious rights concerning women. While this convention was not large in size, its results proved to be significant as the Women’s Rights Movement was born and ultimately led to the passage of the 19^th amendment 72 years later.
