Today, RNC Coalitions is honoring Troy Rolling of St. Joseph, MI who was elected on October 2, 2009 as the Michigan Federation of Young Republicans newest National Committeeman. Not new to the political scene, Rolling also volunteered on President George W. Bush's 2004 re-election campaign. Since 2005, Troy has attended the Michigan Republican State Convention as a convention delegate and has not missed a convention since. He served as the County Chairman for Keith Butler’s U.S. Senate campaign in 2006, as well as participated with the Dick DeVos for Governor Campaign that same year.

During this time, Rolling assisted the Michigan Republican Party with one of the largest African American Coalition efforts that has ever taken place in the state of Michigan. He served as the Chairman for the Benton Harbor area and participated in multiple campaign activities including a large door-to-door effort. He also was the State Chairman for the African American Coalition for the McCain for President Campaign in 2008. He attended the first ever Ethnic Coalition Meeting hosted by the Michigan Republican Party at their State Convention in 2008. Troy is currently the Grassroots Vice Chair for the Michigan Republican Party, helping spread the message of the Republican Party throughout the state of Michigan.

Aside from all of his family, work, and political activities, Troy is also heavily involved with his church. He currently serves as a board member at First Assembly of God, a church with a membership of 700, in St. Joseph, Michigan.
