A new Rasmussen survey finds that “62% believe tax cuts are a better way to create jobs and fight unemployment.”

Further, the survey finds that “only 21% believe that additional stimulus spending is a more effective tool.”

The fact that the economy has not added jobs under Democrats’ policies, but instead continues to lose them, should be evidence enough that more taxes and spending is not a viable approach to creating jobs or jumpstarting our economy.

But the White House and Democrats in Congress do not seem to be paying attention to voters or history.

Just yesterday Senator Harry Reid introduced a government-run health care bill that will levy billions in new taxes on both individuals and businesses to create a new government entitlement.

At the same time, Democrats in both Houses, as well as the White House, claim to be entertaining ideas to stimulate job creation.

What’s the great disconnect here?
