Today, Senate Democrats are headed over to the White House to discuss the budget and deficit reduction.  Considering that the President has failed to put forward an actual budget reduction plan since his partisan speech on April 13^th, one can only assume this will be nothing more than a messaging meeting for the Democrats to get on the same page before they vilify Republicans tomorrow.  Unfortunately, thanks to Chuck Schumer, we’ve already seen that movie.

CAUCUS TALK: The Senate Democratic Caucus heads to the White House on Wednesday afternoon to talk about the budget and deficit reduction with President Obama. The meeting should be more friendly than the one he has scheduled with the Senate Republican Caucus on Thursday; the president and Democrats have been in agreement about using proposed cuts to Medicare to demonize the Republican budget plan.
