More Solyndra emails reveal someone isn’t being truthful about the White House and Kaiser’s role in Solyndra.

Obama donor discussed solar loan with White House. Associated Press: Emails released by a House committee appear to show that a major donor to President Barack Obama's 2008 campaign discussed with White House officials a federal loan to a failed California solar company. BREAKING -- POLITICO Pro reports: "Advisers to Obama fundraiser George Kaiser discussed Solyndra and other government contracts during their White House visits, according to emails released today by House Republicans. The 2010 emails between Kaiser and two of his top business associations indicate the California solar company came up during visits with aides to Vice President Joe Biden. Republicans said this contradicts earlier claims from Kaiser and the White House that they did not discuss Solyndra." http://politi.co/ux5X3N

CNBC’s Eamon Javers: “New e-mails coming out today in the Solyndra matter. One of the big questions here has always been, to what extent did George Kaiser, the investor personally push for money to Solyndra in his meetings at the White House? A new e-mail just released this afternoon from the House Energy and Commerce Committe appears to suggest that Kaiser did, in fact, discuss Solyndra while at the White House. In that e-mail Kaiser himself on March 5, 2010, writes ‘By the way, a couple weeks ago when Ken and I were visiting with a group of Administration folks in D.C. who are in charge of the Stimulus process, White House, not Department of Energy and Solyndra came up, every one of them responded simultaneously about their thorough knowledge of the Solyndra story suggesting it was one of their prime poster children.’ So, Mandy, the significance here of this e-mail is that it suggests that Kaiser was in fact meeting with White House officials and talking about Solyndra. Now we're going to wait and hear what the White House has to say about this. They may suggest there was nothing untoward about this, in any case.  But clearly more details are coming out on the Solyndra matter. Solyndra Emails Claim Biden's Staff 'About Had an Orgasm' About Energy Loans to Firm. Fox News: A series of emails provided to the House Energy and Commerce Committee from individuals tied to Solyndra offer striking characterizations about running strategy with the White House to secure assistance for the now-bankrupt solar energy firm. Emails among George Kaiser, head of the George Kaiser Family Foundation; Ken Levit, the executive director of the Foundation; and Steve Mitchell, who manages Argonaut Private Equity and was a member of Solyndra's board; show that Vice President Joe Biden's office were very gung-ho. "They about had an orgasm in Biden's office when we mentioned Solyndra," reads a Feb. 27, 2010, email from Levit to Mitchell. A follow-up email from Mitchell to Levit later that day responds with: "That's awesome! Get us a (Department of Energy) loan." According to exchanges obtained by Fox News, in an email from Mitchell to Kaiser on March 5, 2010, Mitchell writes that "it appears things are headed in the right direction and (Energy Secretary Steven) Chu is apparently staying involved in Solyndra's application and continues to talk up the company as a success story." http://fxn.ws/uSK5Iu

Solyndra E-Mails Show Obama Fundraiser Discussed Lobbying White House.  From the Washington Post: Obama fundraiser George Kaiser and his business associates discussed lobbying the White House to help Solyndra, the solar panel company that failed in August, newly released e-mails show. …Solyndra’s biggest investor was a fund linked to the family foundation of George Kaiser, a Tulsa billionaire and bundler for Obama’s presidential campaign. Kaiser was involved in e-mail correspondence with his business colleagues about an upcoming White House meeting to get the administration’s help in selling its panels, and in seeking a second energy department loan, which if awarded would have been in addition to a $535 million loan the company received in 2009. Kaiser’s representatives have previously said Kaiser did not personally lobby the White House on behalf of Solyndra’s loan. Kaiser’s foundation told the Washington Post on Sept. 2 that Kaiser had no conversations with the administration about the loan and was not involved in the loan process.  http://wapo.st/saFVlh
