WASHINGTON – The Republican National Committee (RNC) released a new web ad “Failed Promises: Iowa" ahead of the first in the nation caucuses to remind voters of President Obama’s failed promises. Using the president’s own words from Iowa four years ago, the ad highlights the unanimous view that America is not better off under President Obama. Before the first votes are cast by Iowa Republicans, it is clear that Americans are yearning for new leadership and ready to change direction away from Barack Obama’s failed policies.

“Four years ago, Barack Obama came to the state of Iowa promising ‘change we can believe in’ but after three years of unemployment above 8%, rising healthcare costs and record spending, Americans are feeling the consequences of this president’s failure to follow through on his promises,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus.
“Barack Obama catapulted out of Iowa four years ago, and, today, Iowa Republicans have a unique opportunity to send a resounding message to this president that his time is up. America is ready for serious leadership in the White House to tackle the enormous challenges this country faces."
