“The payroll tax extension was a big deal…for each individual family anywhere from 13 to 30 dollars a paycheck.

“And then the Keystone pipeline, 20,000 jobs the day the permit is issued. So those are immediate, shovel-ready jobs and with the opportunity to grow those to 250,000 jobs…

“So this is just a way that regulations hurt the growth of the economy and the economic growth is the absolute essential thing that we should be getting out of Washington…We got the doc fix in, and so that was a key, and we got blower regulations and the blower mac and it’s just again an overreach by the regulatory agencies that are killing jobs…

“They [the Democrats] want the tax cuts, we want the pipeline, the jobs, let’s put them together, we both get something we are looking for…

“Anytime I can leave money in the hands of the taxpayers, I’m going to do it….I will always vote for a tax cut for the American people. We don’t have a taxing problem, we have a spending problem. That’s the problem in Washington…”
