“The national unemployment right now is of course at 9.1%  and in Colorado, we have lost tens of thousands of jobs and unemployment remains at 8.7%. And this is despite spending hundreds of billions of dollars … in failed stimulus spending.

“Despite how the President and his advisors may try to characterize it, these are not bumps in the road or evidence of any turnaround, but really part of a nearly three year long trend of failed policies that have put the nation on another brink of collapse. Simply put, President Obama’s economic policies have failed Colorado’s families, it’s taking our country in the wrong direction, and we believe strongly that voters will hold him accountable at the ballot box …

“President Obama, when he ran for office, promised to change the direction of the country, promised to lead from the center, promised to build consensus, and he has failed on all counts. In particular, his administration’s hard tack to the left has, really, America heading the wrong direction …”
