Grand Opening Of Nine Victory Field Offices To Take Place This Saturday
WASHINGTON – The Republican National Committee (RNC) today announced the Arkansas Victory campaign to establish the in-state political operation to ensure Republican candidates are successful in November. In partnership with the Republican Party of Arkansas, the RNC is providing funding and resources to aid Republican campaigns throughout the state.
The Victory program will create a statewide infrastructure to effectively reach Republican voters by opening party offices and phone centers across the state, providing staff, and tapping into the grassroots volunteer base that will be the key to Republican success. In addition to staff and resources on the ground, the Victory campaign will have full access to communications, research, and political support. By leveraging these tools, Republicans will compete aggressively in Arkansas and deliver a clear message to voters that it’s time to stand up to Barack Obama’s big-government agenda.
The Arkansas Victory program has already made tens of thousands of calls to prospective voters, has now opened nine offices, and has twelve staffers on the ground so far.
“As Arkansas Republicans prepare for their Super Saturday celebration of the grand opening of nine Victory offices, the RNC is excited to be partnering with the state Republican Party to help paint Arkansas red,” said RNC Chairman Michael Steele. “The Victory program will tap into the growing momentum and excitement that we see building at the grassroots level across the state. We look forward to giving Arkansas voters a clear choice between the big government, big spending Democrat policies that hurt small businesses and kill jobs, and the pro-growth, fiscally responsible policies of the Republican Party.”
“Our volunteers are energized and ready to get out the vote in this important election year,” said Republican Party of Arkansas Chairman Doyle Webb. “The resources that Chairman Steele and the RNC are providing to Arkansas will have a great impact on our ability to spread our Republican message and stand up to the Obama Administration’s far-left agenda at the ballot box in November. With the additional resources, a strong state-wide political operation, and committed volunteers, there is no doubt that the GOP stands poised to be victorious in Arkansas on Election Day.”
In 2009, Republicans made 5.8 million voter contacts and put in 165,715 volunteer hours, resulting in victories across the country and playing a major role in more than 30 successful races. In 2010, the RNC is building on this success to compete aggressively in all fifty states, from Delaware to Hawaii.
