“As we celebrate America’s Independence with family and friends, it is important to remember those here at home and overseas who are defending the freedoms we too often take for granted. Our military men and women wake up every day to protect the freedoms that have been passed on for generations so they can be enjoyed for many generations to come. I hope we will all take a moment to reflect on the enormous sacrifice many have made to protect our way of life, especially those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.  It is a blessing to live in a country where freedom is cherished and we should never forget the silent heroes who make it all happen.”
