WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus released the following statement regarding the results of the Nevada Caucus: 

“Tonight, Nevada caucus-goers added to the wave of GOP momentum sweeping the country illustrating just how eager Nevadans are to send a Republican to the White House,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. 

“I congratulate Mitt Romney on his victory tonight, and I thank all our candidates for their work to put an end to Barack Obama’s failed presidency. I also congratulate the Nevada GOP on a successful caucus operation.

“The state of Nevada has been especially hard hit by the Obama economy, with the highest rate of foreclosures and unemployment in the nation. Meanwhile, Nevada’s Hispanic community has endured even greater hardship. The Silver State, more than any other, knows how desperately we need a new president.”
