WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Co-Chairman Jan Larimer released the following statement this evening:
“A new chapter in American history was written tonight, and Republican women held the pen. Our female candidates won historic elections, and female voters supported Republican candidates in numbers likely never seen before.
“This was a grassroots election of the people, for the people and by the people. Over the past two years, the American people spoke out at local town hall meetings and at rallies on the National Mall. Tonight, they made their voices heard in the strongest way possible - at the ballot box. I want to thank the American people for delivering a new Republican majority to the United States Congress that will repeal and replace ObamaCare, create jobs by cutting taxes and begin the work to reduce the debt for future generations.”
