WASHINGTON – Today, DNC Chairman Tim Kaine said that Democrats who are pushing back on the failed agenda of Barack Obama, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi are “crazy” to do so. With 9.5 percent unemployment, skyrocketing national debt, and looming small business tax hikes creating even more economic uncertainty, the Obama Administration’s failed policies are forcing vulnerable Democrats across the country to run from their Party’s leadership and hide their reckless voting record.
Democrat Senate hopeful and Failed Job Czar Lee Fisher is trying his best to convince voters that despite his lock-step support of Barack Obama, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi’s failed agenda, he will be free from the influence of the Democrat establishment in Washington, DC. Does Fisher agree with DNC Chair Tim Kaine that pushing back against Democrat leadership is “crazy”?
“The Obama Administration’s reckless spending, massive growth of government, and failure to create jobs is forcing Democrat candidates across the country to desperately run from their records and separate themselves from leaders of their Party. The only thing crazier than continuing down a path that has resulted in 9.5 percent unemployment, skyrocketing national debt, and a government takeover of healthcare would be campaigning with the Democrat leaders responsible. Will Lee Fisher stand up to Tim Kaine and denounce the misguided policies of the Obama Administration, or will he continue to play two sides against the middle and try to hide his lock-step support for the Democrats’ big-government agenda and do whatever it takes to get elected? First, the White House insulted its base, and now the DNC is insulting its candidates. Maybe reality is finally settling in for a Party that has spent the last two years in denial of the overwhelming public opposition to their tax-and-spend policies.” – Ryan Tronovitch, RNC Spokesman
“I can tell you Democrats who kind of are afraid to be who they are ,or who are pushing back on their leaders - I think they're crazy.” – DNC Chair Tim Kaine, Fox and Friends, 8/13/10
