House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats are always bragging about how popular the “public option” is. But now it seems they are recognizing the reality that it isn’t:

ANCHOR: “House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, speaking in Sunrise [FL] yesterday, saying it’s time to rebrand the controversial 'public option' claiming the term is misleading.” 

PELOSI: “We are not throwing them to the wolves of the insurance industry without an option for them to choose, which is what I would call not the public option but the consumer option.”

Just another example of Pelosi’s double-speaking.
