Stop Government-Run Health Care Today!

Later tonight, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is scheduling a vote on President Obama’s government-run health care experiment, and many Democrats are sitting on the fence. We need you to call your Congressman or Congresswoman today at 202-224-3121 and tell them to vote NO on the Democrats’ government takeover of health care.

Some Democrats, like Rep. Eric Massa (D-NY), who said back in August he would “vote against the interests of his district” by supporting his party’s government takeover of health care, are now indicating they plan to vote “no” on Pelosi’s bill – they need to hear from you that you will hold them accountable if they don’t. Other Democrats, like Rep. Jim Cooper (D-TN) are announcing they would vote “yes” on Pelosi’s bill, even though he finds “much of the bill to be deeply flawed.” They need to hear from you that all their concerns and objections mean nothing if they cast that “yes” vote.

So will Jim Cooper be the next Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky? We asked that question of many Democrats yesterday afternoon. After voting for Clinton’s BTU tax in 1993, Margolies-Mezvinsky lost her seat in Congress. Now, after pushing House Democrats to “walk the plank” and vote for a job-killing national energy tax, Pelosi is pushing them to vote for a health care experiment that increases taxes by $730 billion and slashes Medicare and Medicaid by $456 billion.

But that isn’t the only comparison that can be made between Democrats’ national energy tax and their government-run health care bill. As we noted this morning, Pelosi bought the votes of many fence-sitting Democrats back in June to pass her national energy tax. And now she’s doing the same thing with her health care bill, making last minute deals with so-called “moderate” Democrats.

We also have a question for President Obama: Where’s your veto pen? The president has made several pledges about what must be included in health reform: making health care cheaper, no tax hikes on the middle class, and nothing added to the defcit. So will he veto Pelosi’s health care experiment for breaking those promises? The president should know that he can sign a bill that achieves his goals: the Republican health care bill.

Call your Congressman or Congresswoman NOW at 202-224-3121. Tell them to oppose President Obama’s government-run health care experiment.

These dems (and that one loony Republican) are so blind. Americans do not want socialized medicine, yet they press on with their diabolical plans. Don't they realize we are their employers?

I have done everything in my power to block this monstrous legislation, only to find we have a"Republican" traitor who puts his self-serving interests above the welfare of the country. I am disgusted!!!

Rep. Joseph Cao (LA) another Faux Republican. It is time for Conservatives to stand up and start throwing these folks out of office and the party. Just because they have an (R) after their name does not mean a thing. We need to keep our voices heard. Too long have we sat back and let the Liberals, Progressives and Faux Republicans rampage all over our Constitution, schools and lives. We have started to stand up and fight back, we need to continue and let our voices ring out loud and strong. Conservatives, it is time for us to be heard and take back OUR country.

1) Which ever Republican (in name only, I'd assume) voted for the passage of this monstrousity needs to be ousted or (at a minimum) ostracized from the party. 2) WHEN the Democrats ram this 'reform' through AND go looking for money to pay for it (undoubtedly through cuts to reimbursements to providers in Medicare and Medicade - ALREADY substandard and finding many refusing to participate CURRENTLY), their demise will be in total, as MANY of the providers (I have yet to speak with a colleague in favor of this 'reform') will outright refuse to participate for the reimbursements that shall be offered. I wish the Democrats luck in explaining how they 'reformed' the healthcare system, handing out freebie-healthcare cards but could NOT find actual doctors / providers for their supporters to actually see... Shall be wildly hysterical...
