RNC Women

Despite a winter storm warning, several hundred women braved the snow this morning to attend the Regional Women's Summit in Columbus, OH. 

 

The RNC Women's Programs hosts this series of summits to give women around the country the opportunity to network, get involved and hear from a dynamic lineup of speakers about how they can help win elections back home in their own towns, counties and states.  Today's lineup includes U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski, former White House Press Secretary Dana Perino, former Rep. John Kasich and Ohio Senate candidate Rob Portman. 

 

Women are not a coalition or a minority in American politics - they are the majority.  Gains among women voters in recent elections in Virginia, New Jersey and Massachusetts drove Republicans to victory in each one of them.  Today's summit will help build on those gains and activate and train hundreds of new volunteers from Ohio and surrounding states.
