John Sigler was elected as the State Chairman from Delaware in April 2011.

Currently, Sigler is corporate attorney admitted in Delaware and Maryland and is an adjunct faculty member at Wilmington University. He is also a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA) Legislative Policy Committee. At the NRA, Sigler is the chairman of the Subcommittee for State and Local Affairs and a member of the Executive Council and Executive Committee of the NRA Board of Directors.

Previously, Sigler served as the president of the NRA from 2007-2009 and also as NRA’s 2^nd VP and 1^st VP. He also was the chairman of the NRA Finance Committee. Sigler served as a Dover Police Captain (Retired) and also in the United States Navy’s Submarine Service.
