Robert Turner is the Executive Director for the District of Columbia Republican Party.  Prior to his appointment, Turner was President and founder of the Turner Group, a dynamic government relations firm located in the District of Columbia.  For three years prior to starting the firm, Turner was a Director of Government Relations at a DC public relations firm, where he did federal lobbying for among others, Fidelity Investments, Hitachi America, Bacardi USA, Miami-Dade County, Jackson Memorial Hospital, and Whitman-Walker Health.  Turner also served six years as a Capitol Hill staffer, working in both the Senate and the House of Representatives.   Originally from Austin, Texas, Robert has lived in the District for eighteen years.  Turner served the last three years as President of the DC Chapter of Log Cabin Republicans.
