James Randolph “Randy” Evans was elected as the National Committeeman from Georgia in May 2012. He is a partner at the international law firm of McKenna, Long & Aldridge LLP. Evans earned his B.A. at West Georgia College and his J.D. at the University of Georgia Law School. His political activities include serving as a Senior Advisor to Newt 2012, and previously serving as the Finance Chair and General Counsel to the Georgia Republican Party./ He was also a delegate to the 2004 and 2008 conventions and served as National Committeeman in 2000. Evans served as the outside counsel to the Speakers of the 104th-109th Congresses of the United States. Evans is currently the co-chair of the Georgia Judicial Nominating Commission and was previously on the Georgia State Election Board. He is also involved in his community serving on the Board of Directors for the Church of the Apostles, General Counsel for Leading the Way, and the Executive Committee of the Republican National Lawyers Association. Evans currently resides in Atlanta, GA with his wife, Linda, and has one son, Jake.
