Tim Berry was elected as the State Chairman from Indiana in July 2013.
Tim Berry knows how to win elections.
He has won four statewide campaigns, two each for Auditor and Treasurer, and two races for Allen County Treasurer.
In each role, Tim has demonstrated a strong commitment to Hoosier taxpayers by recognizing that they deserve a government equipped to do more with less.
As Indiana’s 54th State Auditor since January 2007, he led the charge to implement a fully integrated financial system – the first of its kind for all of Indiana government – providing more efficient and transparent government. As State Treasurer from 1999-2007, he earned a record $1.7 billion for Hoosier taxpayers through his targeted investment of state dollars in addition to leading the effort to provide tax incentives for families saving for their children’s college education through the CollegeChoice 529 Plan and returning 12 percent of his budget back to the state general fund.
Tim and his wife Kim, director of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, are the parents of two sons, Ian, a student at Cathedral High School, and Colin, a student at Fall Creek Valley. Tim holds a degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University and a MBA from Indiana University.
