Alexander R. Willette has served District 7 in the Maine House of Representatives since 2010. For the 126th Maine State Legislature he was elected by the House Republican caucus to serve as the Assistant Republican Leader. Elected to leadership at the age of 23, Rep. Willette is the youngest legislative leader in Maine History.
In addition to his legislative service, Rep. Willette has experience in real estate sales and accounting. He is a graduate of Presque Isle High School and graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington in May of 2011 with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. He is currently a third year law student, and he and his wife Melissa live in Mapleton.
Rep. Willette is involved in the community as a Master Mason with the Trinity lodge. He is also an Eagle Scout with Troop 170 in Mapleton and 171 in Presque Isle.
