Brandon currently serves as the Executive Director of the Mississippi Republican Party. Prior to his position with the MSGOP he worked as a representative for U.S. Senator Roger Wicker, responsible for the 18 southernmost counties in Mississippi. Before beginning work in the political world, Brandon served 8 years in law enforcement. He is a former full-time Biloxi Police Officer, and is also a former Harrison County Sheriff’s Department Reserve Deputy. A native of Gulfport, Miss. he has served on the Boards of Directors for the MS Coast Crime Stoppers, the Biloxi Businessmen’s Club, the Harrison County Republican Executive Committee, the Boy Scouts, and is a past president of the Harrison County Republican Club. He is a member or former member of the Gulf Coast Carnival Association, the Gulfport Business Club, the Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, Coast Young Professionals, the Jackson County Republican Club, and the Police Benevolent Association. He is a President’s Club member of the Heritage Foundation, a Life Member of the NRA, and a three time graduate of the Leadership Institute in Washington D.C. He has held numerous volunteer positions with a multitude of statewide and local political campaigns and has served on the volunteer committees of several charitable groups, including the Gulf Coast Women’s Center for Non-Violence, Feed My Sheep and the United Way of South Mississippi. Brandon was appointed by Governor Bryant to serve on the Statewide Crime Stoppers Advisory Council, where he currently serves as vice-chair. In 2012, Brandon served as an alternate delegate to the Republican National Convention in Tampa, FL.
