Stan Stein was elected as the State Chairman from North Dakota in December of 2010. He has attended several Republican National Conventions.

Currently, Mr. Stein owns and operates a grain farm in SE North Dakota. He previously served as the vice chair of the ND GOP and as the district chair for the 25^th district.
