Jo Ann Davidson was elected to the Republican National Committee as National Committeewoman for Ohio in 2004. She served as RNC Co-Chairman from 2005-2009. She also served as Chairman of the Site Selection Committee, and the Committee on Arrangements for the 2008 National Convention.

Presently, Davidson serves on the Board of Trustees at the University of Findlay and Franklin University. Previously, she was a member and former speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives and served on the Reynoldsburg City Council. She also was the regional chairman for the Bush-Cheney 2004 campaign and chairman of Taft for Governor.
