Rob Gleason Jr.

State Chairman

Rob Gleason was elected as the State Chairman from Pennsylvania in June of 2006 and was re-elected Chairman in 2009 to a four-year term. He currently serves on the RNC’s Budget Committee, and has attended six Republican National Conventions.

Mr. Gleason is the Area President for Pennsylvania for Arthur J. Gallagher., the 4th largest insurance broker in the world. In addition to his company, he involved in many political activities including serving as past Chairman of the Cambria County Republican Committee, as a director of Pennsylvanians for Effective Government, and as the Republican Committeeman from Westmont Borough #5, and he was appointed to the Commission on Presidential Scholars by George W. Bush. He is also active in his community as a trustee for Conemaugh Health System, and a trustee for the University of Pennsylvania and the Kiskiminetas Springs School. He is a former director and secretary of the Foundation for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown.

Previously, Gleason has served as the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a member of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, the Chairman of the Board of the Memorial Medical Center, the Acting CEO of Conemaugh Health System, among other commitments. He was a Captain in the U.S. Armed Forces and served on active duty from 1962-1966 and reserve duty from 1966-1972.
