Rob Gleason was elected as the State Chairman from Pennsylvania in June of 2006 and was re-elected Chairman in 2009 to a four-year term. He currently serves on the RNC’s Budget Committee, and has attended six Republican National Conventions.

Mr. Gleason is the Area President for Pennsylvania for Arthur J. Gallagher., the 4^th largest insurance broker in the world. In addition to his company, he involved in many political activities including serving as past Chairman of the Cambria County Republican Committee, as a director of Pennsylvanians for Effective Government, and as the Republican Committeeman from Westmont Borough #5, and he was appointed to the Commission on Presidential Scholars by George W. Bush. He is also active in his community as a trustee for Conemaugh Health System, and a trustee for the University of Pennsylvania and the Kiskiminetas Springs School. He is a former director and secretary of the Foundation for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown.

Previously, Gleason has served as the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a member of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, the Chairman of the Board of the Memorial Medical Center, the Acting CEO of Conemaugh Health System, among other commitments. He was a Captain in the U.S. Armed Forces and served on active duty from 1962-1966 and reserve duty from 1966-1972.
