Fredi Simpson was elected to the Republican National Committee as National Committeewoman for Washington in 2006. She served on the Committee on Contests and the COA Volunteer Committee for the 2012 Republican National Convention. She was also appointed to serve the western region on the Presidential Nominating Schedule Committee and was the western region representative for the Temporary Delegate Selection Committee.

Currently, Simpson is first vice president of the Chelan/Douglas Republican Women and vice chair of the Chelan County Republican Party. She also serves on the Washington Federation of Republican Women Board of Directors.

Previously, Simpson was the chairman of Chelan County Republican Party and third vice president for the Washington Federation of Republican Women. She also was vice chair of the Washington State Republican Party and Washington Republican National Hispanic Assembly (WRNHA).
