RE: Two Days Left
The enthusiasm that we are seeing in the field is unbelievable. Our offices are brimming with volunteers and the excitement on the Republican side of the ledger is dwarfing Democrats. But don’t get me wrong, this election is going to be close and there are still voters spending this weekend making their final decision. As we have expanded our map into Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and Michigan late deciding voters are breaking for Romney. There were polls out today in each of these states showing positive momentum.
- Michigan: Romney 47, Obama 46 http://www.myfoxdetroit.com/story/19996781/2012/11/04/romney-and-obama-in-dead-heat-in-latest-michigan-poll
- Pennsylvania: Romney 47, Obama 47 Trib poll shows presidential race in Pennsylvania remains too close to call
- Minnesota: Romney 46, Obama 45 http://www.politico.com/blogs/burns-haberman/2012/11/aff-poll-minnesota-a-tossup-148296.html
What we know is that voters in these states – particularly the key demographics of independents and swing voting women — are responding to Governor Romney’s closing message. While President Obama offers small, petty attacks, encouraging Democrats to vote for revenge and presenting no plan for a second term, Governor Romney is offering big plans, bold solutions and a promise to work with Republicans and Democrats alike to fix our economy.
We are confident that with these late breaking voters responding to Governor Romney’s closing message, we will be victorious on Tuesday.
