WASHINGTON - Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus released the following statement on February fundraising:

“The Republican National Committee raised an impressive $11.3 million in February,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “Our cash on hand now totals $26.7 million, empowering us to keep taking the fight directly and aggressively to Barack Obama.

“The enthusiasm of our grassroots supporters fuels our fundraising success, with 97 percent of our donors this year giving less than $200.

“In addition, our major investors continue to set records with their generosity. We have raised an unprecedented $5.83 million in major donor money year to date.

“At the RNC, we remain committed to effective financial stewardship. We take seriously the trust our supporters have placed in us and the important task before us. From now until Election Day, we will work non-stop to ensure America votes Republican in November so that we may undo the damage of Obamanomics and ObamaCare and put America on the path to opportunity and prosperity.”
