WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus offered the following statement regarding the state GOP chairman elections in California and Rhode Island:

“I would like to congratulate Tom Del Beccaro of California and Ken McKay of Rhode Island on their victories to serve as state GOP Chairmen. Tom and Ken are strong grassroots Republicans and I am excited they will be leading our state parties during such a critical time for our country. As our nation’s fiscal crisis continues to mount under this President, they will work to hold Democrats accountable for their reckless deficit spending. I look forward to working closely with Tom and Ken as we continue to grow our Party and challenge the failed policies of Barack Obama.”
