WASHINGTON - The Republican National Committee (RNC) released a new web video “Doing Fine” after President Obama’s stunning comments this morning that somehow “the private sector is doing fine.” His comments demonstrate not only just how out of touch he is with the 23 million Americans who are struggling to find work but also that he has no understanding of what the problem is or how to fix it.

“President Obama clearly doesn’t understand what is wrong with our economy if he thinks ‘the private sector is doing fine,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “His comments are appalling in light of the recent jobs report that showed job creators are stuck in neutral and beginning to roll backwards.”

“President Obama may like to blame others and point to ‘headwinds’ for the state of the economy, but it’s becoming obvious the ‘headwinds’ facing our economy are coming from the White House.”
