WASHINGTON – The Republican National Committee (RNC) released a new web video “Headwinds” cataloguing President Obama’s favorite excuse for the weak economy: “headwinds.” After another disappointing jobs report last week, it’s clear that Barack Obama doesn’t understand what it takes to get the economy growing and creating jobs. All he has to offer is “headwinds.”

“President Obama likes to blame everyone and everything for the weak economy except the person who is most responsible: Barack Obama,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “After three and a half years of job-destroying tax hikes, over-zealous regulation and out of control spending, the real ‘headwind’ facing job creators in this economy is President Obama’s economic policies.

“So, after a terrible week in which President Obama offered nothing but spin and excuses, there is one thing his re-election campaign is surely facing: headwinds.”
