@RNCResearch Will Be Live Tweeting The State Of The Union

Tomorrow, @RNCResearch will be live tweeting Obama’s State Of The Union address. @RNCResearch is waiting for Obama to once again “pivot” back to jobs and the economy. We’ll also be updating this blog with live fact checks throughout the night.

@RNCResearch will also look to see if, unlike House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Obama will acknowledge that Washington has a spending problem. It’s not likely, though, since Obama’s own FY2013 budget proposes $46.2 trillion in federal spending through FY2022 and is projected to add $9.2 trillion to the current national debt of $16.5 trillion.

$46.2 Trillion:

$25.4 Trillion:

$16.5 Trillion:

Current National Debt ($16,480,910,656,603.96). (U.S. Treasury Department, Accessed 2/7/13)

$9.2 Trillion:
