1.5 Billion Reasons to Vote Joe Donnelly Out of Office in 2018

Michael Joyce - January 26, 2018

Happy Friday!

It’s already been a big week for Hoosiers as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act Act continues to bring higher wages, bonuses, and capital investments to Indiana, but some of the biggest news yet came this morning. FedEx announced a $1.5 billion investment into its Indianapolis shipping hub due to the passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

This is great news for Hoosiers and the city of Indianapolis! It’s even more bad news for Joe Donnelly who cast a partisan vote against the tax bill.

Today’s news begs the question: Does Joe Donnelly still think the Tax Cuts and Jobs act is bad for Hoosiers?

“Today’s news about FedEx’s massive $1.5 billion investment into their Indianapolis hub just goes to show how wrong Joe Donnelly was on tax reform. When an opportunity to vote with Hoosiers arises, Joe Donnelly votes with Chuck Schumer and Elizabeth Warren instead.  Hoosiers won’t forget Donnelly’s partisan vote against the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act any time soon.” –RNC Spokesperson Michael Joyce
