Today, Air Claire is kicking off her campaign in Columbia with a McCaskill-esque reception, aka fundraiser. Wonder if she took the private jet there?
ICYMI: Air Claire had quite the bad week and is trying to brighten her outlook on November by raising some campaign cash...
President Trump spent Wednesday in St. Louis with Missouri business leaders discussing the benefits of historic tax reform for Missourians. Leaders of ten Missouri companies praised the benefits they were able to provide their employees, no thanks to Claire McCaskill.
Prior to President Trump’s visit, McCaskill’s colleague Mitch McConnell took to the Senate floor to discuss the upcoming visit:
“He’ll hear from local business leaders about how tax reform is giving them room to invest more and hire more. Missouri’s senior senator tried to block tax reform on a party-line vote.”
McCaskill simply retorted that she was for tax reform, even though she voted against the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act that provided sweeping relief to many of her constituents.
The RNC is reminding Air Claire just how impactful her vote against historic tax relief for middle class Missourians has been with a Snapchat filter at her kick-off event:
“While Air Claire holds one of her elitist, McCaskill-esque fundraising receptions this evening, maybe the events of this past week will sink in. As ‘Air Claire’ continues to try and spin her out-of-touch rhetoric against historic tax relief for the middle class, Missourians are going to take their $1,000 ‘scraps’ straight to the polls to vote her out in November.” – RNC Spokesperson Christiana Purves
