A new national poll of Millennials raises red flags for the Democrat front-runner.
The Harvard Institute of Politics did a national survey of 18-to-29 year olds and found that young voters are turning against Hillary Clinton.
Her plans for expansive government and $1.2 trillion in new spending proposals does not connect with a generation that believes government is the problem, not the solution to the problems we face today.
And as Hillary runs for Obama’s third term, young voters are looking for a new approach.
To make matters worse, Millennials indicate they want a candidate who has integrity and is authentic – attributes Clinton sorely lacks. According to another recent poll, 57% of voters aged 18-to-34 say Clinton is not honest and trustworthy.
Even among Democrats, young voters prefer Bernie Sanders to Hillary. After leading Sanders by a staggering 44 points in the Spring survey, Clinton is now trailing the self-avowed socialist by 6 points.
As the next generation of voters and leaders rebuke Clinton’s approach and the Obama legacy, these numbers show clearly that Hillary Clinton represents the policies of the past.
