Today, Clinton Called On Congress To "Swiftly Pass" A New AUMF To Fight ISIS. CLINTON: "But if we press forward on both sides of the border in the air and on the ground, as well as diplomatically, I do believe we can crush ISIS' enclave of terror. And to support this campaign, congress should swiftly pass an updated authorization to use military force. That will send a message to friend and foe alike that the United States is committed to this fight. The time for delay is over, we should get this done." (Hillary Clinton, Remarks, New York, NY, 11/19/15)

Days Ago At The Democrat Debate, Clinton Said The Current AUMF "Certainly Does Cover" The Use Of Military Force Against Terrorists. DICKERSON: "The French president has called this attack an act of war. A couple of days ago you were asked if you would declare war on ISIS and you said no. Would you-- would you-- what would you say now?" CLINTON: Well, we-- we have an authorization to use military force against terrorists. We-- passed it after 9/11." DICKERSON: "And you think that covers all of it?" CLINTON: "It-- it certainly does cover it. I-- I would like to see it updated." (Hillary Clinton, Democrat Primary Debate, Des Moines, IA, 11/14/15)
