Clinton Hypocritically Accuses GOP Of Events With Actors

- January 4, 2016

Today At A Campaign Event, Hillary Clinton Accused GOP Candidates Of Using Actors At Events. HILLARY CLINTON: "So I think this is a big problem. The Republicans don't believe in it; honestly, I have to ask you, who do they talk to when they come to Iowa? I mean, I see them with people and I'm wondering if it's like the same group of actors, they just move from event to event to event, because honestly I don't know who they are talking to." (Hillary Clinton, Remarks At Campaign Rally, Cedar Rapids, IA, 1/4/16)

REPORTERS HAVE WONDERED WHETHER CLINTON IS PLANTING QUESTIONS AT HER TOWN HALLS

The Pattern Of Questions At Clinton Campaign Events Has Drawn The Attention Of Reporters, Leading To Not-So-Subtle Insinuations She's Planting The Queries

Time Magazine's Ryan Teague Beckwith Noted Clinton Called On A Number Of Children Under The Age Of 14 Who Asked About Pay Equity, Which Is "Not Exactly A Top Concern Of Most American Middle School Playgrounds." "If you're under the age of 14, you'll probably never get a chance to vote for Hillary Clinton. But you might get a chance to ask her a question. … At times, the questions can feel a bit staged. At least three of the kids she's called on have asked about gender pay equity, a central policy focus of her effort to attract women voters, if not exactly a top concern of most American middle school playgrounds." (Ryan Teague Beckwith, "Why Hillary Clinton Keeps Calling On Kids At Town Halls," Time, 12/30/15)

The Associated Press' Ken Thomas: "The Kids Who Go To Hillary Clinton Town Halls Certainly Know A Lot About Pay Equity Issues." (Twitter.com, 12/29/15)

In December The Washington Free Beacon Reported Clinton Called On The Same Person At Two Separate New Hampshire Town Hall Events Held A Month Apart. "The Hillary Clinton super-fan that made Clinton laugh last month in New Hampshire when he told her that every time he saw Republican Carly Fiorina on TV he wanted to 'reach through and strangle her' appears to have made his way to another one of the campaign's New Hampshire events. His burly voice was heard again during a Tuesday event when Clinton gave him the opportunity to take the microphone." (Brent Scher, "Man Who Wants To Strangle Carly Fiorina Speaks At Another Hillary Clinton Event," Washington Free Beacon , 12/9/15)
