RNC Chair talks Nevada strategy ahead of midterm elections

“I think it’s all about common sense versus craziness,” RNC Chairman Joe Gruters told 8 News Now. “We look at Nevada as a real battleground. The road to the majority is here.”

“We have more money in the history than we’ve ever had,” Joe Gruters said. “We have 10 staffers in Nevada right now. They’ve been on the ground, both from an election integrity standpoint and get out the vote standpoint.”
Gruters also defended Republican Gov. Joe Lombardo, who is vying for a second term. Aaron Ford, Lombardo’s democratic opponent, has criticized the governor’s policies.

“I think Governor Lombardo has done such a phenomenal job make sure energy prices go down. Rent prices go down,” Gruters said. Gruters added not to rule out President Donald Trump paying another visit to Nevada before the midterm elections. He’s been in Las Vegas twice this year.
