Manny Rutinel's Open Border Agenda Puts Colorado Drivers At Risk

Commentary

The Trump administration is launching a historic interagency effort to crack down on fraud in the commercial trucking industry, fraudulent driving schools, illegally issued commercial driver's licenses, and unqualified drivers who endanger Americans on the road.

For families in Colorado, this danger is real, not hypothetical. In 2025, an illegal immigrant killed a 27-year-old Colorado woman in a high-speed, drunk-driving crash. Yet, Democrats have opposed the law enforcement and laws that would keep these people on the road, creating safety threats for families on the road.

President Trump and Congressman Gabe Evans are tirelessly fighting to restore accountability, remove dangerous illegal immigrants, and keep unqualified, reckless drivers off the roads. Republicans support enforcing immigration law, securing the border, backing law enforcement, and strengthening driver's license validation.

“Going to soccer practice or taking a family road trip shouldn’t be a life-or-death situation at the hands of illegal immigrants. Every family deserves to know that the cars driven next to them are operated by trained, qualified people who speak English and know the rules of the road. President Trump and Congressman Gabe Evans are closing the dangerous loopholes, while Manny Rutinel and Democrats are fine with these lunatics on the road." - RNC Spokesman Zach Kraft
