During her 2012 campaign, Senator “Air Claire” McCaskill (D-MO) infamously sold her “damn plane” after the former auditor herself failed to pay over $300,000 in state taxes on it. (She was also caught using $76,000 in taxpayer dollars from her Senate office to subsidize the private travel.)
So I assumed that was that – no more “damn plane.” Wrong!
Air Claire has actually replaced the “damn plane” with a new one, which can be seen above in recently-obtained “Air Claire” promotional materials.
Now she’s telling Missourians that “normal people” can afford private travel like hers.
VIDEO: McCaskill Says
“Normal People Can Afford” Private Travel
McCaskill Hit From the Left on ‘Normal People’ Private Jet Remarks. “Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) is in hot water after video surfaced of the Democrat saying that “normal people” can afford to own and operate private jets. ‘Will you remind [people of] that when they come after me about my husband’s plane – that normal people can afford it?’ McCaskill said after a constituent at a town hall raised a question about transportation issues.” (NTK Network, 8/22/17)
With her 2018 re-election prospects so up in the air, it’d probably be wise for Air Claire to sell this “damn plane,” too.
