HIRING REMAINED STRONG IN SEPTEMBER CONTINUING TO PULL DISCOURAGED AND PART-TIME WORKERS OFF THE SIDELINES

The U.S. gained a net 181,000 jobs in today's report.

The New York Times : The U.S. continued "steady" pace of hiring in September.

CNN's Christine Romans : "more people are working, people are coming off the sidelines and looking for jobs."

The strong labor market continues to lift workers left behind by the recovery under President Obama, including adults with less than a high school education who saw their lowest employment rate ever in September.

MINORITIES CONTINUE TO BENEFIT FROM HISTORICALLY LOW UNEMPLOYMENT

The unemployment rate remained below 4% for the 7^th month in a row , falling to 3.5% in September, a 50 year low.

Despite A Weak Global Economy American Hiring "Remains Strong," Adding 136,000 Jobs In September. "Amid signs that the global economy is slowing, American hiring nonetheless remains strong. • Upward Revisions To Previous Months Added 45,000 Jobs. "However, there was some additional good news because the previous two months saw upward revisions.
