Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and the Republican Party of Florida joined together to host an event with members of the Puerto Rican community to discuss a wide range of issues impacting South Florida Hispanic voters, from tax reform to school choice.
As hundreds of thousands of Puerto Ricans move to Florida, the GOP is working to engage these politically motivated voters to join the Republican Party, the party that represents their interests and aligns with their values.
Small government, faith, individual sovereignty, and free market capitalism are just a few important principles upon which the GOP and Puerto Rican voters are finding common ground.
The GOP has invested in its engagement with Hispanic and Puerto Rican voters in Florida by hiring a Puerto Rican Engagement Director as well as additional field organizers who will ensure that the necessary groundwork is in place for this year’s midterm elections.
We want everyone to know they have a home in the Republican Party. That's why I went to Miami yesterday to let people know they are welcome and will be championed. pic.twitter.com/RgyIhovFXd— Ronna McDaniel (@GOPChairwoman) March 3, 2018
