Republicans worked hard for the youth vote this past November and it paid off, just see the great results our candidates had.

 

Youth vote results last cycle

Nationally

  • Compared to the last time these Dem Senators were on the ballot in ’08 Republicans won 13 percent more of the youth vote.  (NYT)

Alaska – Senate

  • Dan Sullivan won the youth vote outright, 48%-44% in 2014
  • Young voters swung away from Begich by 19 points compared to 2008
  • 18-24 year-olds went for Sullivan by a 52-41 margin

Arkansas – Senate                                                                                                                    

  • Rep. Tom Cotton won the youth vote outright, 50%-46% (CNN)

Louisiana – Senate

  • Young voters swung away from Landrieu by 11 points compared to 2008 (CNN)

North Carolina – Senate

  • Young voters swung away from Hagan by an astounding 33 points compared to 2008
  • 18-24 year-olds went for Hagan by a slim 47-44 margin, within the margin of error
  • We had a youth week of action

Virginia – Senate

  • Young voters swung away from Warner by 34 points compared to 2008

Iowa – Senate

  • Young voters swung toward the GOP by 28 points compared to ‘08

Michigan – Governor

  • 25-29 year-olds went for Governor Rick Snyder by a 50-48 margin

Ohio – Governor

  • Governor John Kasich won the youth vote outright 56-41
