RNC Chairwoman: James Comey’s Only Loyalty is to Himself
RNC CHAIRWOMAN MCDANIEL: The more the American public get to see him, they see how much Jim Comey thinks of Jim Comey. “A Higher Loyalty,” we put the cover out to “Me, Myself and I.” It's about him. And I think seeing the way that he's disclosed private conversations with the President of the United States, he's made giant leaps, he only met with the president three times in person and yet he's made these giant leaps. And now you see that his family was huge Hillary Clinton supporters. I think he's actually trying to make good with the Democrats and trying to find a new home and hoping that they will embrace him, but I don't think they're going to do that either because they blame him for Hillary Clinton's woes.
RNC Chairwoman: Congress Must Continue to Work on Behalf of the American People
CHAIRWOMAN MCDANIEL: Congress can't stop working, and we can't stop working on behalf of the American people. Listen, let's look at what is in the Democrat accomplishment column: nothing. Obstruct, resist. We've put together the best tax cut. People are getting more money in paychecks, they are feeling better. But they want to see us continue to work on their behalf. I will say, though, we have a fundraising advantage over the Democrat party, with the DNC. We are laying the groundwork for the midterms, and look at our candidates in the Senate races where these Democrat incumbents are: in Missouri, Indiana, in Florida with Governor Scott, all across the country we have opportunities to pick up seats. Republicans are energized. We have to stay energized if we're going to keep our majority.
