RNC Chairwoman: Everyone Should Be Championing What Happened Yesterday
CHAIRWOMAN MCDANIEL: Everyone should be championing what happened yesterday, and everyone should be hoping for a continual good relationship between the United States and North Korea, and obviously South Korea and North Korea. It's interesting to me to see Democrats already criticizing the President. They were sure thrilled when President Obama went and dealt with Fidel Castro. So, I do think there's hypocrisy in some of the ways that Democrats are handling this, but it's good for our world, it's good for our country, and the President got here because he was tough. Because of tough sanctions. Because of talking to North Korea in a way that they knew the United States meant business. We are now in a place where we are brokering peace. It is a historic time for our country, and we have a a leader, an unprecedented leader, who is championing this, and I think we should all be applauding President Trump.
