Bill Nelson must be "losing his voice" from the stress of losing his campaign. Today, Nelson was hit with another bad poll showing that Governor Scott has a 42 percent to 39 percent lead over Nelson among likely South Florida Hispanic voters. This is after Nelson was hit with a scathing poll last week showing Nelson’s plan to gain support from Florida’s Puerto Rican community was failing.
Nelson tried to fix the problems by scrambling to translate his first Spanish-language ad after a brutal article came out highlighting his lack of outreach to Florida’s Hispanic communities, and then deciding to RSVP at the last minute to the Audiencia Latina event. And, only mentioned having a newly hired-Hispanic outreach staffer after the media questioned him.
You can say that again, Marc. It’s the second bad poll this month, and it’s only the 11th!
“Bill Nelson has had decades to support Florida’s Hispanic community, but once again, he’s failed. Nelson is watching his reelection chances crumble around him as communities across Florida continue to support Governor Scott.”- Taryn Fenske, RNC Spokesperson
