McCaskill faces Missouri voters…and it is not pretty

Christiana Purves - December 21, 2017

Yesterday, in a radio interview on The Mark Reardon Show, Senator Claire McCaskill was pressed on the fact that she couldn’t provide a clear answer as to why she didn’t work alongside Republicans to fix the broken tax code.

Later on in the segment, McCaskill was put through the ringer by her own constituents for her vote against tax cuts and jobs for Missourians.

“It's insulting to Missourians that McCaskill continues to put Chuck Schumer and her D.C. bosses above policies that benefit them. She’s failed to give Missourians a decent answer as to why she voted against tax reform, and failed to join Republicans in giving Missouri families and businesses the tax cut they deserve. You can bet that McCaskill’s lack of honesty and refusal to work with her Republican colleagues on tax reform will haunt her come 2018.” – RNC Spokesperson Christiana Purves
