Obama Admin Official Tied Up In Their Own Email Scandal Fundraises For Clinton

- August 24, 2016

Lisa Jackson, Who Was Caught Up In Her Own Email Scandal, Is Fundraising For Clinton Tonight. "Cook, joined by Lisa Jackson, Apple's vice president of environment, policy and social initiatives, will help raise money for the Hillary Victory Fund, according to an invitation obtained by BuzzFeed News. The fund is a joint fundraising committee that contributes to the Clinton campaign, the Democratic National Committee, and 38 state parties. The fundraiser will take place on August 24, with an address to be provided to guests." (Hamza Shaban, "Apple CEO Tim Cook To Host Hillary Clinton Fundraiser," BuzzFeed, 7/29/16)

Lisa Jackson Used A Fake Email Account Under The Name "Richard Windsor" As An Administrator Of Obama's Environmental Protection Agency. "Environmental Protection Agency officials granted at least six ethics and cyber-security certifications to 'Richard Windsor,' the fake employee invented for former EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson's use for conducting official business. In a response to a Freedom of Information Act request filed in April by Christopher C. Horner of the Competitive Enterprise Institute, EPA's Eric Wachter said in a May 31 letter that 'as you will recall from many of your previous requests, Administrator Jackson's secondary email account was Windsor.richard@epa.gov , and she completed the EPA-hosted computer-based training while using that particular account.' Wachter offered no explanation for Jackson's decision to enroll in the ethics and cyber-security courses under the fake name rather than her own. The courses are offered through EPA's Information Technology department and are required for many top agency officials." (Mark Tapscott, "Watchdog: EPA Grants Ethics, Cyber-Security Certificates To Fake Employees 'Richard Windsor,'" Washington Examiner , 6/3/13)

  • Jackson Used Her Secret Account To Communicate Outside Of The EPA, Including With Environmental Groups And Marketing Firms. "'EPA has shown an absolute disregard for transparency with their email practices, but this one is pretty bizarre,' said Vitter, the top Republican on the Environment and Public Works Committee, in a statement. 'We also know now that Lisa Jackson used the alias 'Richard Windsor' to correspond outside of the EPA, including with environmental activists. There are still a lot of unanswered transparency questions, and Jackson's replacement, nominee Gina McCarthy, is responsible for answering them and reinforcing transparency as a priority for the future of the Agency.' In one released email, the founder of a marketing strategy firm writes 'Richard, Please pass this on to Lisa Jackson. For some reason, her personal email does not seem to like to get emails from me!' In her response, Jackson, writing from the Windsor account, did not correct him about Richard Windsor's identity." (Julian Hattem, "Former EPA Chief Under Fire For New Batch Of 'Richard Windsor' Emails," The Hill , 5/1/13)

Jackson Likely Used The Fake Account To Avoid Federal Record-Keeping And Public Disclosure Rules. "In 2013, Jackson was caught using a fake name and account, 'Richard Windsor,' to conduct government business, likely to avoid federal record-keeping and public disclosure rules." (Joel Pollak, "Fmr. Obama Official In Email Scandal Hosts Fundraiser For Hillary," Breitbart , 8/23/16)

The Fake Account Got At Least "Six Ethics And Cyber Security Certifications." "Environmental Protection Agency officials granted at least six ethics and cyber-security certifications to 'Richard Windsor,' the fake employee invented for former EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson's use for conducting official business. In a response to a Freedom of Information Act request filed in April by Christopher C. Horner of the Competitive Enterprise Institute, EPA's Eric Wachter said in a May 31 letter that 'as you will recall from many of your previous requests, Administrator Jackson's secondary email account was Windsor.richard@epa.gov , and she completed the EPA-hosted computer-based training while using that particular account.' The courses are offered through EPA's Information Technology department and are required for many top agency officials." (Mark Tapscott, "Watchdog: EPA Grants Ethics, Cyber-Security Certificates To Fake Employees 'Richard Windsor,'" Washington Examiner , 6/3/13)

  • "Among The Certificates Awarded To 'Richard Windsor' Was A Nov. 2, 2009 'Certificate Of Completion' For 'E-Mail Records Management.'" (Mark Tapscott, "Watchdog: EPA Grants Ethics, Cyber-Security Certificates To Fake Employees 'Richard Windsor,'" Washington Examiner , 6/3/13)
  • Windsor Received A Certificate For Ethical Behavior In 2010, 2011 And 2012. "Official policies 'Richard Windsor' likely would have been informed of during the e-mail course was EPA's bar against using fake email names while conducting official business. During the ensuing years, however, EPA IT department officials awarded additional certificates to 'Richard Windsor,' including three for completion of the agency's 'Scholastica Decentia,' the Certificate for Ethical Behavior, in 2010, 2011 and 2012." (Mark Tapscott, "Watchdog: EPA Grants Ethics, Cyber-Security Certificates To Fake Employees 'Richard Windsor,'" Washington Examiner, 6/3/13)

Being Birds Of A Feather, Lisa Jackson Has Sat On The Board Of The Clinton Foundation Since 2013. (Clinton Foundation, Accessed 8/24/16)
